Each of us is like a beautiful mosaic of experiences and emotions. Some pieces are whole and some pieces are broken. Learning to love and accept each part is one of the opportunities to explore in therapy.
Self-regulation is another important skill to practice; finding out what helps you stay calm under stress is a skill that we each must figure out for ourselves.
I have spent my adult life studying and practicing art and psychotherapy. My experience has allowed me to integrate these disciplines in a profound and helpful way.
